I am so tired that I cannot sleep.
After a long day at school, followed by a seemingly long shift at work, followed by a couple of hours of homework, I want nothing more then to cascade into a deep sleep and not have to wake the next morning until noon. How this often plays out though is very different. Instead I will come home, do my homework and then lay in bed for hours just staring at the ceiling and wondering why I cannot sleep. What I have concluded about this stage of tired ,over time, is that my body is perplexed by its level of fatigue that it cannot think clear enough to turn itself down for the night.I become so tired that I cannot sleep.I really think this stage of tired is in the top three most common stages of tired, because we often let out sleepiness get the best of us.This is also the most irritating stage of tired because you know you want to sleep, you know you need sleep ,and you know those are the very things keeping you from sleep. It is only when you give up and decide to try and read or write or watch a TV show that you wake up the net day realizing you feel asleep writing or reading or watching TV.
Thank you ( Let me know your thoughts about this stage of tired in the comments below.)
- Wishing you the most alert of days, Eva
