My ” Abandoned but not Forgotten” board on Pinterest.

I created this board on Pinterest because where many people many just see old ruins of a house left to crumble to the earth, or a life that seems frozen in time if it weren’t for the layer of dust, I see beauty.I am drawn to these places and things which have been left abandoned to time but not forgotten because they still live on. I wanted those who follow me to see that even things which seem to have been erased by the ticking of the historical clock, are really just altered in form and still as beautiful as ever, if not more beautiful as they return to nature.I think that their is something truly human and more natural then the structure that we create themselves, and we see this when the grand things we have made are retaken by something greater then us, mother nature. There is an eeriness that comes with seeing what makes us great become the very thing that makes us weak as well. Our distinct human ability to create buildings that tower and objects that oversimplify our lives is also taken over by nature, which we forget that we are a part of.It really is a very intimate board about human nature versus the way we have evolved over time, yet deep down we are no match for mother nature, and in the end that is the part of us ,as well, that will always shine the brightest.I hope you go ahead and check my board out and feel inspired to look for those abandoned things which hold so much beauty.Never stop seeking out beauty in the most unexpected of places. Live life to it’s fullest, and enjoy every beautiful aspect of it.
