Narrow Mountain Pass.

Through  the narrow mountain pass ,I traversed

with narrowness of nature

being far from the real danger

,which stood next to me scowling.

“The people here are strange.”

The narrow one snarls.

but the mountain keeps on flowing.

I keep on flowing

away from that narrow one

fountain,some say, of life.

I watched the birds soar free

And I watched humanity be caged

by itself and

Narrowness of heart.

Narrowness of mind.

Narrow mountain  pass caging us in

and the one next to me

locking the metal bars.

Mental bars and mental walls

Judgement,some say,is just a part of life.

As the trees sway

It seems some will never be swayed

from the pulse of hate.

As I watch the leaves dance

in the gentle breeze of nature,

I can’t  help but sense

that there is something unnatural

in the rocky, narrowness of minds;

When we live  and cultivate pain

like that tall ,narrow one

Towering above me

Who some say

I ought to admire.

I am a young and enthusiastic writer, fresh out of highschool and into college at IUSB. I babysit and work and live life to it's fullest. I write. I read. I do yoga. And plan to become. Yoga intructers as well. I grew up on a farm and can't,t wait to move back to the country in my tiny house I have already planned out. Sometimes I'm a little melodramatic but rarely. I'm a spiritual healer, a hopeless romantic, a book worm, and very nostalgic. Thanks for stopping by.
