birthday in suburbia(1.18.17)

worn away at the corners

I flip through the pages of myself

no more the wiser

wordlessly wishing myself another happy birthday

with no one around to see the tears that collide

on the battleground of my mascara scarred cheeks

just a pretty pink princess

with no one to love

and nowhere to go

stuck in suburbia

in this alone

another day passes

another day perishes

it draws on

” I wish… I wish…”

the tiny trails of smoke float away with my joy.

Thank you as always for reading and commenting. I love to hear feedback from my readers, regulars to my posts and newbies who randomly stumbled across my writing alike. Thank you.

” Me and the pen, we are one. If its ink would cease to flow, my ink would cease to flow.”

I am a young and enthusiastic writer, fresh out of highschool and into college at IUSB. I babysit and work and live life to it's fullest. I write. I read. I do yoga. And plan to become. Yoga intructers as well. I grew up on a farm and can't,t wait to move back to the country in my tiny house I have already planned out. Sometimes I'm a little melodramatic but rarely. I'm a spiritual healer, a hopeless romantic, a book worm, and very nostalgic. Thanks for stopping by.
