Here is the second version of the human heart poem. Read it separately first but ten maybe compare it to the last and see if you think having some of the words taken out gave it more depth or less and let me know your thoughts on both. Version three will be soon.
The Human heart #2
Apart.Depart. It trembles.
It beats. it throbs.
Born, to build. To break.
Dawn–aglow. Dusk– it shakes
–shatters–withers–
echoes of love
fear
sorrow
–life is loss–
stitched seams which snap.
Bleeding tears.
Gone.
Vanished
nothing–
a wisp– dreams
passing–passing.
My hollow heart.
silence
the silence
silence in his arms.
Stillness.
Stillness.
–my heart–
